 |
The
Hitchhikers Guide to the Future. A BBC Radio 4
series, in which Douglas gave a unique insight
into how new technology will change our lives.

 |
Fellow
fan Nicolas Botti has created the ultimate Douglas
Adams/Hitchhikers portal. Brilliant stuff. |
 |
Martin
Freeman, who plays Arthur Dent in the movie, has
this brilliant site up, maintained by his brother
Jamie. There's even a H2G2 section there, with a
funny little game. |
| ANOTHER
CHANCE TO SEE... |
The
latest news on the endangered animals visited by
Douglas Adams and Mark Carwardine for their book
"Last Chance To See". Brought to you by
Gareth Suddes. |

ZZ9
Plural Z Alpha (ZZ9) is the Official Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy Appreciation Society |

Douglas
friend Berkeley Breathed, a brilliant cartoonist
of Bloom County fame. Very satire, very political
(or perhaps anti-political), very environmental,
very sociologic. And very humoristic. |
 |
Margo
Buchanan, enormously talented, nice and beautiful
singer. Close friend with Douglas, singer of one
of his favourite songs; Rockstar.
Her debut album due for release on May 15, 2006. |
 |
Nick
Webb, Douglas Adams' close friend and the
author of his official
biography. The site is tagging along his
newly published book; The
Dictionary of Bullshit (UK
Amazon), serious and
subversive, opinionated and amusing. The book is
the first of ts kind, and essential field guide
for those who want to keep their Bullshit
detectors in fighting trim. Essential to all fans
of Douglas Adams. |
 |
1770,
where Douglas' brother James Thrift works,
providing all that is best in contemporary design
for you and your home. |

|
Save
The Rhino and the Dian
Fossey Gorilla Fund were Douglas' two
favourite charities. He was sort of a patron saint
to both of them and went out on various missions
on their behalf to raise interest in the issues
that they work with. If you really, really want to
honour the memory of Douglas, the best thing you
could do is to donate a sum of your convenience to
these organisations. |

liff is a good one, they will submit it to the
dictionary that is constantly growing on this

Dave
Barry, columnist for The Miami Herald. Hilarious
fellow and Douglas enjoyed his columns very much. |
