Bienvenue as well! I am from Louisiana, so I have a little bit of French Cajun in my blood line.

So, have a wonderful meat pastry:

Where can I upload pictures to display them in my posts? Is there a commonly used website I should access?

My ancestors were mostly French-Canadian, and some actually Acadian, so there's the
remote possibility we could be distant relatives, hap.

Anyway, it's good to see a growing French contingent. A few more and we can have
a half-assed re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings with our British pals.

FlickR,ImageShack and Photobucket all offer free image hosting. All three of them have someone here using them so if you'd have any specific questions there would be someone available to try to help sort things out. I'm a FlickR girl myself.

salut! en fait il y a au moins un francais ici (de temps en temps): nicolas botti, webmaster du site excellent www.h2g2movie.com
de toute facon, amuse-toi bien ici, c´est un endroit très sympa!

and have a little quote from terry pratchett, complete with a pun on a french word:

Quote:
"Vimes, I wonder if your forensic genius could help me with a little conundrum we found this morning." The Patrician stood up and headed for the stairs.
"Yes, sir? What is it?" said Vimes, following him down.
"It's in the Rats Chamber, Vimes."
"Really, sir?"
Vetinari pushed open the double doors. "Voila," he said.
"That's some kind of musical instrument, isn't it, sir?"
"No, Commander, the word means 'What is that in the table?'" the Patrician said sharply.
"That's an axe," said Vimes.
"Astonishing," said Lord Vetinari. "And you've barely had time to study it. Why is it there?"
