Following the huge success of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Tertiary Phase in 2004, the final two books in Douglas Adams’ masterpiece have been dramatised for radio, where Hitchhikers first began 25 years ago. On BBC Radio 4 from Tuesday May 3rd at 6.30pm (repeated the following Thursday at 11pm), The Quandary Phase and The Quintessential Phase of Hitchhiker's will be broadcast over a total of eight weeks, comprising adaptations of the novels So Long & Thanks For All The Fish and Mostly Harmless.

The programmes are being adapted, directed and co-produced by Dirk Maggs (Radio 1’s Batman, ITV’s The Animated Mr Bean, The Magic Roundabout Movie) and produced by Bruce Hyman and Helen Chattwell of Above The Title. Both Bruce and Dirk were Douglas Adams’ original choice for the job.

There's a lovely trailer for the show up now, compiled by H2G2 TV show legend Kevin Davies. Check it out.

The link on the Above the title page is wrong - both point to the speeded up recording sessions video.
The right link for the trailer should be

http://www.abovethetitle.com/05_hh/down ... _mov_3.mov

Is there a link to a proper page? I'm a bit reluctant linking directly to a video file.

for me both links work well (they point to the proper files - the accelerated thingy and the making of)

Eh?
Oh, I see. The first part of the link goes to the right file but the second (and quintessential) goes to the wrong one.
How odd.

Duke - I've edited the link out of my message

The right link for the trailer should be

EDit:
In actual fact the link is split in two and the first part of the link is right, the second part isn't

Watch the ‘making of’ the Quandary and Quintessential Phases

it seems they just switched the files, and now all the links are right, and there's a larger, mp4 format trailer instead of the mov :)
(fun to see online how they fiddle around with the page - the pictures change too)

Ah ha!

They're obviously reading the forum.

I'd found and downloaded the mp4's in their directory while I was looking for the other one.

Oh, and now we've got all the where the **** are the video bit out of the way, can I just say that this looks absolutely wonderful.

I was looking forward to the movie with a mixture of excitement and fear. I am even more excited about these!

Once again Journey proves it's talent at sending shivers down spines. Wonderful!
