Well, yellowish...

Anyway, I'm not a very clever business man, am I? I promise new pictures but I contradict myself, and scare away everyone with admitting that they are not biwilderingly new.

I think I'd rather have "yellowish" than that blaring yellow from the tv series. Having it subtle is more of a nod to the fans who know about the yellow somethings, while still catering to the n00bs who will watch the movie not knowing they're supposed to be yellow. I mean, someone who is unfamiliar will look at a yellow ship floating in the sky thinking 'eegads, that's an eye-sore' and find it very distracting, and in turn miss some valuable jokes. Would you want that? All for the sake of obvious and blaring yellow? WELL?!

Still, I'm glad they are at least yellow-ish.

I can see it in the Crayola Crayon boxes, Vogon Yellow.

I see the world through Vogon Yellow-tinted glasses. :)

And since someone mentioned the Magrathea still making a good wallpaper, I thought I might play around with the pic to put something together for anyone interested. It's simple enough.

I was on your website, Claire, and until then I thought I knew a lot about Photoshop. I made the exact same pic you did as a wallpaper for myself, with comparably awful results. It still looks good, but compared to yours, . . . [/admiring whistle]

Nice work Claire.

And - if I might add - though the awful marketing job I've done, Your post made quite a lot of people come here.
