I think I'd rather have "yellowish" than that blaring yellow from the tv series. Having it subtle is more of a nod to the fans who know about the yellow somethings, while still catering to the n00bs who will watch the movie not knowing they're supposed to be yellow. I mean, someone who is unfamiliar will look at a yellow ship floating in the sky thinking 'eegads, that's an eye-sore' and find it very distracting, and in turn miss some valuable jokes. Would you want that? All for the sake of obvious and blaring yellow? WELL?!
