Alright, so I didn't leave enough choice in my Rock Music Poll...

So here you go. Discuss your pick for your favorite album.

Mine is (most likely, I have a lot of favorites)....

Oh Bob! This is so hard for me. One album, that I could listen to over and over and never get tired of? There are so many.

It absolutely would have to be a Pink Floyd album, but which one? Ok, flip a coin. And the winner is..........

Dark Side of the Moon

With Wish You Were Here and Meddle tying for second.

Mission Exotica ~ Langhorns

I want it, actually. I have the MP3's though.

But from what I have, I guess it would be:

Inquisition Symphony ~ Apocalyptica

Cellos never were more fun! Too bad they went on a decline and they now suck.

Almost inhumanly impossible to answer when you've accumulated somewhere in the
neighborhood of 3000 albums. When I truly try to narrow it down I come up with two answers.

One: My favorite album, the one I most identify with, the one when the opening notes kick in, I
get that feeling like, "Ah, yes, back home."

And that's:

Image
The Wolfgang Press - Standing Up Straight

That said, the greatest album ever recorded can only be:

Image
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

If you shop around there is a Special Edition of Hounds of Love which contains four extra songs plus two remixes.

I saw them perform in Bristol with Elton John last summer. Fantastic gig. Elton was great, Scissor Sisters were even better.

I don't know, I'd have to go with Wish You Were Here as the best Pink Floyd. Dark Side is pretty good, Time is musical intoxication... but there ain't a bad track on Wish You Were Here.

Who's Next only has one bad track... Going Mobile... And the rest more than make up for it. Won't Get Fooled Again live is one of my favorites ever. Up there with the Battle for Evermore and Time.

Well, I can't quite narrow it down to just one, but here are a few selections from my extensive collection:

Songs From the Wood - Jethro Tull

Division Bell and Obscured by Clouds - Pink Floyd

Black Brick Road - Lake of Tears

Innuendo - Queen

Morrison Hotel - The Doors

Busted Stuff - Dave Matthews Band

Not very eclectic, but i know what I like!

The Who - "Won't Get Fooled Again"

Led Zeppelin - "The Battle for Evermore"

Pink Floyd - "Time"

Genesis - "The Knife"

Beth Hart - "Favorite Things"

Marillion - "Go"

Queazer has onbe of mine, but I'm into alot of music, I happen to love Chaim David's work, I'm also partial to Jazz, especially Come Shine, I quite like Robbie Williams, and well, that's just for starters

I really can't pick out one or even five

gimme a week or so, I might be able to pair it down to somewhere in the low twenties...

Goddess, I love this album. Out of sheer numbers of the times I have listened to this, I should probably have put it on my list. However, it is easy to forget for me since it is a tribute album.

Ok, if I had to pick the ONE album for the famous island, I'll go for quantity of quality ...

Yeah but if I had to choose I'd pick the blue one

And if compilations are not allowed, I'd go with another colour ...

I think it's a tossup between Ben Folds Five's "The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner" or Elliott Smith's "Either/Or".

My favourite album has to be OK Computer (Radiohead). It's just brilliant. I quite like The Bends as well, but nothing beats OK Computer
