I am currently rewriting my manuscript, you know which one, making all the maximum changes required to legally publish the book (which is sad, but can´t be helped, can it) and am fighting my way through open office (for I am an impoverished unknown writer, as it is only too darn well known by y´all and can´t afford word). In word it is just one click to add page numbers for the whole of your document, in open office it is just one click and you´re in trouble.

Anway, when I finally succeeded, the page of my document (which has about 270 pages) on which I was currently on, while I was checking out the procedures, then showed me the number 42.

At first I thought, well, it´s still wrong, it somehow put the title in the footnote, which is odd enough for it wasn´t intended, but then, I scrolled up and down, the page numbers were moving.

Now, out of 270 pages I was, whilst doing this, right on page 42 and I had no idea of it!
Guys, I take that as a sign!

Thank you, Douglas, you´re still with me, you know, I am your truest fan, you are telling me, no, you´re not an usurper, you simply carry on where I can´t no longer. I know you have a hard time with my fans, in their devotion to me they might overdo it a little here and there, you just try to be patient and keep up the good work.

Not quite 42, but I had a customer today with fish earrings. I complimented them, and she informed me that they were her Babelfish earrings!

I was so excited I just bounced around in glee.

I´m currently sitting in the train on my way to my cure at the English channel and the seat that was reserved for me has the number 42. I am currently in a discussion about this with my friendly neighbour Christian and pointed out to him the theory about the whole 42 business! Regards from him to the whole forum.

Die 250 Einwohner des spanischen Dorfes Sodeto sahnten bei der Weihnachtslotterie "El Gordo" mehr als hundert Millionen Euro ab. Nur einer ging leer aus: der 42-Jährige Costis Mitsotakis. Er hatte als Einziger kein Los gekauft. Trotzdem ist auch er jetzt irgendwie ein Gewinner.
