I was reading an article today about the large hadron collider, and came across this little gem of a quote.

Quote:
"It would appear that any time-traveling quantum bird sent by the Higgs boson was unable to disrupt yesterday's run."

Believe it or not, this is not a reference to Adams (as I first suspected.) The author, Ford, was referring to this time-traveling quantum bird:
