For a text message, Gene Wilder and Slim Pickins call out, "Lookie what I got here!" "Hey, where the white women at?"

My ringtone is Discovery Channel's Boom De Yada.

How about you geeks and gals?

Very boring.
I have the "Old Phone" ring that sounds like a old phone ringer for most people and a clip from Journey of the Sorcerer if anybody from the DAC calls

My phone can only go "beep" in various tones for a ringtone, så I have used the built-in composer to play the Close Encounters of the Third Kind melody as a ringtone. For SMS it just goes "Beep" and shakes about for a bit.

I've just got the boring default "ring ring"...

for texts and voicemail I think it's a equally boring electronic "beep beep" .

For some time now I've had two tracks by Muse.

'Plug in Baby' for my calls, and 'Bliss' for texts.

And for my alarm I use Bjork's 'Play Dead'. I like the way it drifts in, easing me out of my slumber.

totally boring pre-installed one, one of the less common yet not very annoying ones... since i have´t gotten into the "download cool things" mode yet. the fact that i bought my mobile without making sure the software would run on a mac plays into it.

if i´d bother enough, i´d love to have the tardis sound for sms, and either macgyver or a-team theme as a ringtone.

Ringtone: "Animal" with Def Leppard

Text-tone: The alert sound from swedish sports radio that they play when any team has scored a goal in any of the matches they are covering that night.

Calls: Joy Division's "Transmission"

Texts: An irritating beep that I must now change right this second because I now understand how
uncool and boring that is.

I do believe Gonz has an interesting/disturbing ring for calls specifically from me.

Ring tone: Du Hast with Rammstein. Each of the hatchlings used to have their own signal, but that disappeared last time the software was upgraded.

Incoming messages is a built-in tone.

Alarm is "Wake up" with Emigrate and "the Ride of the Valkyries" from the Decca recording with La Nilsson as Brunnhilde, and Georg Solti as conductor.

Vagahubby rings Bach's "Toccata and Fugue", vagababy rings B-52s "Love Shack", opera buddy rings Mozart's "Queen of the Night" from "Magic Flute" and BBM rings "Wish You Were Here." Most everyone else rings a jazzy blues piano and text arrival is heralded by a glass wind-chime.

I really do need to cut up "Journey of the Sorcerer" and make it into a ringtone for you all.

Tsk, what is all this Windows .wav format nonsense?
It is very easy to make ringtones for iPhones (the entire Vagafamily have them!) using iTunes - one of many guides online

Woot, Stej!

Vaga, that's adorable that the Vagababy rings with Love Shack.

DQ, Du Hast? Seriously? You are hardcore!
