eva myles, gwen cooper, should migrate over to be the new Dr who companion, simply because...well, you can guess why.

looking forward to moffat's reign. his stories were the best thru-out.

new doc. and just when i was getting into tenant. didn't like him at first, but am now sad to see him go eventually. david morrisey? he would be pretty good. simm? er, no. jacobi. if only. e.grant: yes please.
russell brand. now don't laugh. he was great playing a series straight role in Mabus. tone him down a little and he would be superb. same goes for rowan atkinson when he did his comic relief skit.

we need someone with a haunted stillness about them.

Paterson Joseph would be a great Doctor. The problem for any actor is not just the time consuming part, but the franchise/fandom expectations that come along with the part. Being the role model, the keeper of the torch, the larger than life figure. Terrific and terrifying at the same time.

Billy Connolly would make a good Doctor, or Michael Palin.

Both are too old to be typecast so could launch into the part with gusto.

I'd rather the Doctor be played by Bill Piper.
