Douglas Adams Continuum (DAC)

This is probably my fourth or fifth introduction thread, but I really am reintroducing myself to the forum. I've gone through many phases of favor and disfavor here, although the disfavor does seem to have attached itself to me lately where the DAC is concerned. I've created this thread to reintroduce myself and hopefully to reintegrate myself into the greatest . I want to start off with all the past baggage behind me and with a clean slate, if you'll be so permitting, so I have erased my signature and opened yet another introduction thread. Let's start off with a little about me at the moment:

I am seventeen years old. I'm in my college application process, and I'm a bit overwhelmed with school and such, since I'm a senior in high school. I won't be able to spend exorbitant amounts of time on the forums because of that, although I will make an effort to regularly check them. I'm a magician. I dabble in freelance graphic design, and I spent a recent stint as a minister of the now-decrepit Church of Google, a parody religion with (I think) more logic to it even than the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I absolutely love the performances and writings of Derren Brown. I like to think that I'm no longer the not-quite-endearingly annoying know-it-all-who-doesn't-know-nearly-as-much-as-he-thinks-he-does I fear I came off as in my last stint here. My name's Aaron. It's very nice to meet you.

Let me share my personal take on communication here:

1 -- never take yourself too seriously
2 -- never forget (1)
3 -- bow to the experience of the core DACers
4 -- and make fun of them whenever possible.
5 -- but always in context.
