That's nice. What's a socerer? Some sort of cross between a sorcerer and a soccerplayer? Oh well.

Ok, I'm really impressed. They actually have ogg vorbis streams, and when I opened their "Listen now" page, they greeted me with this: Enjoy our stations on your Linux PC.

Now, the impressive part is not that they figured out that I'm running Linux. Any dork can do that (that information is part of every HTTP request any browser sends out). The impressive part is that they actually care for me. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside now...

I'm used to hearing the Fred version of that, also by Stephen Lynch.

Special Fred,
Mama dropped him on his head.
Now he's not so bright, instead,
He's a little bit 'special';
Just a little bit.

I have a ton of Stephen Lynch songs. Ever heard 'Lullabye' (a.k.a. 'Why Mommy Left Us')?

"Gerbil" is just wrong...

Actually, most of his songs are like that. By the way, I got them all via filesharing.

"Gerbil" is funny unless of course, you are one of those people that think rodents are cute fuzzy animals and whatnot... my fave song so far is "Gay"...

You mean unless you have any objection to hearing about someone sticking a gerbil up his but?

me too... and it's not really offensive (ok it is) but if you think about it...

as they said
Quote:
...comedians give you something to think about, they are not merely funny people who make you laugh...

ok, so i paraphrased...but still, most of the comedians tell us what we avoid hearing but in a funny way... then you'll realized "he's right"...

ok, im ranting again...

Just lookng up some info on that album and found that that song won the BBC "Greatest Song Opening line"

"Saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand,
walking through the streets of Soho in the rain,
he was looking for a place called Lee Ho Fook's,
going to get a big dish of beef chow mein"

Love that. The track "Roland the headless Thompson gunner" cracks me every time I hear it.

Mind you, "Keep me in your heart" from "The Wind" is done in two version on the tribute album and it cracks me in other ways.
