Hello everyone

Just joined not hour ago, how do you do.

Been a fan of Douglas Adams since I met him in the mid eighties in a branch of Waterstones in Edinburgh (my home town). Him and Terry Jones (who being a Pythonist, I really went to see) were signing the Comic Relief book that they'd edited. By god he was tall. I mean you wouldn't believe how mind bogglingly etc.

Also remember him giving some fans short shrift that were wanting Hitchhikers books signed, and not the charity book he was there to push.

Still got this permanant memento of him complimenting my real name.

This place looks like fun. Shall hopefully enjoy my stay.

Cheers
"Bert"

Hello, and welcome to the forum. Normally I'd give you a present, but what do you get for the man that has it all?
