I just sat a music exam in which they played 'Mister Mestopholise' from Cats over and over again. I love the song, but it's so annoying when you can't get it out of your head!

Johnny Mercer's Accentuate the Positive. Ever since I heard it first I've been accentuating the positive. In my mind.

"Supper's Ready" the Gabble Ratchet bit...

 Been in me head since 6/6/06. I thought I'd compliment the date with some delicious apocalyptic tunes... but no, now it won't leave!

Well I had the Postman Pat theme tune for most of my art exam...
But David Bowie is the normal culprit - Starman, Ziggy Stardust, Golden Years and Jean Genie are usually thumping away there.

Whatever it is the two people sitting next to me are singing. It's really getting on my nerves...

Thank God they've stopped.

The Strokes are definitely a good thing to not be able to get enough of.

So what you're trying to say is that you can't get enough strokes? Would that also mean then, that you can't get enough stroking? Or that you enjoy being stroked?

That set is quite excellent, just wrote a review of it on iTunes. The one online is sadly lacking. The packaging and everything is far too excellent for it to be bought online. Actually have it in me lap right now... I dragged it out the other day to re-import "Happy The Man," which I somehow lost.

Jeff Lynne's kickass turn-up-the-volume-really-loud rock song "Let It Run" from the Electric Dreams soundtrack.

BTW, an excellent website to get MP3s for cheap is http://www.allofmp3.com.

Electric Dreams? The movie with the computer? Moles? The one with the Boy George song?

Ah, If we're taling Jeff Lynne, one of my favourite ELO songs almost matches the title of this thread

The first live rock concert I ever went to was ELO. I was 15. It was great!

Yeah, ELO is great. I love all their songs, especially "Four Little Diamonds" and "Hold On Tight", which sounds a bit like "Let It Run", just not as good.

Yes, Aloha, the movie about the computer that gets of spirit and tries to steal the guys girlfriend from him before they have a big battle of the wills. Sort of like "Short Circuit", but with an early desktop model computer system instead of a robot. The film was okay, good for its time, but the soundtrack has a bunch of excellent 80's era songs. Including Culture Club's "The Dream" and "Love Is Love", and Giorgio Moroder with Philip Oakley's "Together in Electric Dreams". Moles? Oh yeah, I forgot that is what the computer called its owner. :-D

I'm listening to the compilation Afterglow at the moment and it's on Showdown which is also a great track

I didn't know there was a soundtrack for it.

Well, the song currently stuck in my head is the theme song for The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Thanks, Serenity.

With all the Superman Returns ads on now, I've got the Superman theme stuck in my head. I just start humming it at the weirdest times.

Yes bloody difficult that lot

Ne chante plus parmi la rose et l'oranger ;

I'm listening to it right now, turned up really loud, the overture scared the hell out of me when it came on...

Mmm. Phantom.

I had a solo in that when we did it in chorus a million years ago.

Sing once again with me
Our strange duet
My power over you
Grows stronger yet

In a computer lab a few months ago, I came across that passage on someone's icon, and had to *physcially* restrain myself from singing.

I <3 Phantom.

Crap.

*sings it*
