I watched during it's first season, but at the start of the second I had to make a decision of which to watch- Lost or Veronica Mars, I picked what I thought to be the better show. So now I have no clue what's going on with Lost.

(Who's that in the picture?, I don't recognize him)

We've just got to the end of series one in the UK last week. I can't risk looking in here again as I don't want spoilers for series two.

yeah, hence me phrasing it the way I did, thus not spoiling anything for people that haven't seen it

SPOILERS

I've been following this show since half-way through Season 1, so... What the hell is the black smoke demon thingy? Satan? Did Michael unlock it by using the computer? Is it government controlled bio-warfare? Is Lost now a sci-fi series?! WHAT?!

... um, i take it you´re not talking about the show were people are stranded on some island? (computer? demon?) because we had that one in germany and after a glimpse i decided not to watch it (felt too artificial, but maybe you have to get into it a bit more than 5 minutes ... )

They are indeed discussing the show You have mentioned Nellodee. I have not seen a single episode yet, either, although this Franz guy is quite enthusiastic about this whole Lost-binge, so I might just make myself watch an episode or two.

Puff! The black smoke is a kinda "security system". it was mentioned by the french chick, we just didn't know what that weird sound was at the time. Now we know that by "security system" she meant this black smoke. This is the thing that attacks Locke, Jack and Kate when coming back from the Black Rock. We don't know what it protects but probably it's in connection with Dharma. Man, i thought there would be a normal explanation for everything at the end, but how the hell can they explain this black-smoke-alien-creature normally? Seems LOST has actually turned out to be a sci-fi series. I don't know if i should be sad or just don't give it a fuck...

Hey Franz, any chance you could trim your new avatar a bit on the sides so that it doesn't occupy half of the forums width? Gracias!!!

Anyway, Lost. Its a really good show. Not as good as House though, but that's just my opinion. I've been watching it since the beginning, mostly because its filmed where I live (I've seen the fat guy walking around) and I wanted to see what it was all about.

Indeed, House is good. You've seen the fat guy?! He rocks... But Echo is the best character, hands down... brahddah.
