I too am still alive. It's just that there are a lot of things going on in my life, what with school and everything, so I haven't really been around. But I will try to be a bit arounder. I am afraid I will probably never be able to be the aroundest, though.

Am I the youngest person on these boards, by the way?

Depends on how old You are. I was born in... erm, 1991. Numerical palindrome, if that's the expression I'm looking for.

OK, then I'm not the youngest. I'm born in 1987.
This raises two new questions:
1: Are you the youngest?
2: Is anybody on this board born between (and including) 1988 and 1990?

Just ran acorss this and I thought I'd post it. It's a very old mix that Fleppo sent me of the opening scene. It has a few problems, but at least it's got the right actors. It'd probably be a better placeholder than the one we have now.

Could the person (sorry, I don't remember who, it's been so long) who did the background music for the Dirk/Gilks scene at the beginning of Episode 1 please upload the music file in question?

I'd like to edit the scene with the "real voices" into the mix, and as there's just a clock ticking in the background I'd like to try it with the music we've all grown accustomed to by now.

Am I ranting? I feel like I'm ranting. I don't think I'm ranting.

There isn't supposed to be any background music in the first scene. There's just supposed to be a clock ticking.

Oh. Alright then. It's just that there was some background music or other in the "reversed roles" version...

Fine, shall I export to MP3, then?

A Yousendit link to Episode One, with the correct voices in the opening scene.

Episode Two, anyone?

That was just some music by my old band (with me on the drums) that I just threw in since it wasn't a proper version of the scene anyway:P

Well, I re-wrote the horse's lines and added a couple of hazardously stupid jokes just to make the whole thing longer (it's only 5103 words). I'll upload the new, shiny, polished and whatnot epII as soon as my computer feels strong enough to do so.

It would be a nice thing if we'd had a sticky thread sitting on the top of this DGRR forum with just links to the latest versions and scripts. How's the production management thinking about it, could that be worthy a wop!?

Waux, the thread doesn't exist yet... But you knew that, right?

First we need someone to upload the latest version and script files somewhere permanent, as for the moment they're just Yousendit files and about to expire...

That happens.

Allegedly my great-grandmother one night was catching flies during the act of marital duty, causing my great-grandfather to appeal to her: "Maria, pay attention!" They ended up with eleven kids, so she must have paid attention once in a while ...

How big are the files? I could try hosting them for you as long as they don't generate too much traffic and suck up all my bandwidth. Let me know if you want to give it a try.

Hey all

May I remind everyone that we have an ftp account on Wishkres' website for such things as latest scripts and episodes. Details are in a previous thread, but if anyone like Veet wants to use that instead of yousendit that could be wise (maybe downloading something like SmartFTP to do it, although you don't actually need that and can get there through the windows command line tool.) I'll try to download the link and put it up there myself at some point, but tis getting around to it.

Glad to hear we have a reasonably finished episode I and script for episode II :-) Veet, I shall indeed try to record mine and ChrisB's parts for the next episode when we go back next term in a couple of weeks.

Sorry I haven't been around much recently, generally just business of uni / christmas and being ill recently :-(

Hey, good to see you, Dip! No problem, just making sure we're still moving, you know.

Sorry, forgot all about the the FTP thing, though I remember I tried it once but it didn't work for me, not sure why.

Just for my own sake could someone make the Theme Music available for download once more? I see it was up at the begining of this thread but that was long ago and I would much like to have it. If you could that would be most kind.
