Apparently I'm supposed to introduce myself.

I'm Buml0r, and uh, I've got the complete Hitchhiker radio box set on order, which is why I posted. And I'm really, really looking forward to it.

Really, really.

Ta. I suppose a moon goddess (or the moon goddess?) can afford to hand them out fairly blithely whenever the mood hits. That must be nice. I can't even hand out one, but I manage to get on with things.

Nice.

MG will say the only reason I noticed this is because there's no hockey on tonight.

Anyway, Welcome!

These are all very generous offerings, thanks.

Don't go mad though, I probably won't remember to post here once my CDs have arrived. You could say I'm riding the anticipation wave.

I'll at least try and post a review before I disappear though, since nobody else bloody is.

Ah, but we keep those reviews in the secret forum with all sorts of other goodies ... you'll just have to stick around enough to be given the key.

Well, most of us own (or at least have heard) the radio series already, of course....and we did review the tertiary phases onward as they happened....they're around somewhere...if you'd care to have a poke around in here

But feel free to hang around and join in the fun....if you want.

Edot...oops, what MG said

Cheers.

Ok, well my lovely box set has now arrived and I'm about to post my first impressions (of the set itself as opposed to the content, I know everyone's heard it already) in the "All Together Now" thread.

If this is not done due to there being a secret reviews forum or something, now's the time to stop me.

Oh dear ... you took me seriously? You see - if you stick around long enough, you'll learn never to do that.

Bring it on.

Haha, ok right. :D

I suppose the fez should've given it away.

Speaking of which, I hear there's some sort of thing about you lot and fezzes. My dad's got one, so I suppose technically I have access to a fez.

I should read the FAQ really shouldn't I. Don't mind me. Off I go.

Yep...

Boom-boom-boom-boom....Esso Blooooo!

A jingle presumably written by Henry "Boom-boom" Mancini

Yes I do. I remember they used a re-witten version of Smoke Gets In Your Eyes & a bloody awful jingle. I was very young at the time. Under 10 years old.

Well, I was only a kid at the time...and paid little attention to bums or booms.

Only boobs but for a different reason* than now.

*There is a wonderful quote on that subject in Seymour the Fractal Cat (the radio series as opposed to the person)
