What do other DAC'ers drive for thier motorvehicle weapon of choice on the roads of the world? For myself i have a Mini Cooper 02, classic racing green (i would copy the image but don't know how to upload from my desktop). It's in perfect condition and runs like a dream. I held off on getting a shitbox for My First Car as i was adamant that i get a Mini of some sort (a BMW model, as trying to drive a classic Mini and being almost 6' 3" ain't appealing). Great car!

The vagafamily has three vehicles. The most-used is vagahubby's Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with which we haul horses and assorted large quantities of "stuff." Because we live in the snowy northeast I have my own Jeep, a Wrangler, for getting up and down our 800-hundred-foot-long driveway in the winter. Plus it's fun in the summer with the roof off. And we have an Audi A6 Quattro Turbo for non-work. All are great vehicles, in their own special way. Vagababy is learning to drive and particularly likes the A6.

I'm driving a Chrysler PT Cruiser with a Mercedes Benz diesel engine. Retro design, a comfortable ride with enough space to transport stuff.

My first car was a Citroen 2 CV Charleston. Loved it to bits, especially in the summer when one could drive around with the roof opened!

Had one of these for 7 of its 11 years. 3.2 diesel with up to 42 mpg. Like cruising in a seven-seat Chesterfield sofa.

Image

Mrs T has had one of these from new, a Toyata Yaris 1.3 T-spirit. Spent a while road-testing the competition, and it was the best car in its class at the time. Well-built, nippy and handles well. A great, fun little run-about-town. Car's good too.

Beetle convertible. What a great day it was when I realized I no longer needed to drive a practical car!

Honda Accord, 50000 miles of trouble free and comfortable driving. I can also get three guitars and an amp in the boot.

I was over 40 when I bought my first car, a used Peugeot 206, don't remember what year (You can see how very interested I am in cars). After that my father-in-law got sick and couldn't drive anymore. So I sold Peugeot, losing some money in the business, and took over his VW Polo from year 2000. I don't like driving, taking care of the car is beyond my abilities (and interests). The car helps in many situations, so I guess I'll keep it as long as it works. Can't afford a new one anyway.

I am usually chauffeured around in a black stretched armour-plated Humvee. But when I want to be incognito, I drive myself around in "The Shadow" - a black Ford Focus Ghia Saloon.

She can make .5 past lightspeed - she may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.

Mine is a 6 month old VW Golf GTD. Fast, comfortable, economical, solid and reliable and blessed with a DSG gearbox which makes me wonder why anybody would buy a manual shift.
Mrs G has a 5 year old VW Sharan MPV/Minivan thing she refers to as her "bus"

Gusty Junior is rapidly approaching learning-to-drive time. Our insurers tutted and said "he'd need to be at least 21" to drive the Sharan and laughed when my wife mentioned the Golf so I guess we'll be buying an aged Fiesta/Corsa/Polo in Jan

Arthur is my little tiny two-door white Ford Focus. (My Ford is called Arthur. That wasn't even intentional.)
I inherited it months after Dad bought it when I trashed Geoff, the blue Neon.

I rock a Fourwinds Five Thousand. It's a 32 foot motorhome. I call it the Villa de Vet Tech, or Ms. Villa.

Also, hi everyone! Miss you all!
