It's Opening Day in Cincinnati ... a day like no other! Kids and adults alike play hookie. Bars open early, businesses close early. Everyone loves a parade!
I'll have to buy me some peanuts and crackerjack to have while reading Casey At The Bat.

Location: Connecticut, or maybe New Jersey.
It was opening "day" for us last night. In their usual fashion at the beginning of the season, the Yankees' bullpen lost to the Red Sox.

Tomorrow night my basketball season ends when my beloved UConn husky women take on Stanford for the National Championship. The last game "we" lost was to Stanford two years ago in the semi-finals.
