Writing a mini-bible is boring, tedious, hard, and stressful.

Finished writing the mini-bible. I have submitted Monsters Anonymous to Amazon Studios. I feel kind of nauseous because I am sure it is terrible.

So I just paid $50 to have an ad for my website put into my local roller derby's program guide only to have my website revert to my old out-of-date website for no reason whatsoever. I am super upset about this. And I can't get it to revert to what it's supposed to be.

Change your old webpage so that it automatically forwards to your new website!

I tried just typing in the tumblr address of my new website and it just redirected to the old website.

Edit: I can disable the domain name for a bit on tumblr and use a redirect. It's not perfect, but it'll hopefully work until the domain name works on tumblr again.

last night my father was supposed to come over to our new house and bring some contractors of his aquaintance to get a porfessional view at some of the things that need to be fixed. only they never made it to us, they got stuck in a monster traffic jam (truck accident) on the highway and had to wait 3 hours before they even had the chance to get off and go back home... all this late at night... i feel so bad for them! also, of course, this would have been a big step forward in our planning, and now we´re still at square one.
hope they made it home okay and weren´t too pissed off, haven´t talked to my father yet.
oh well. i should expect many things to go wrong in the course of our little renovation project...

*gives Nell chicken soup* Get well soon.

My bitch:

A couple of hours ago I learned that a close co-worker of mine - woman in her late 50-ies - was admitted to the Uni Hospital under the suspicion of acute leukemia this morning. She has been tired and not her usual cheerful self the last weeks or so. According to my informant she has severe anemia and lots of bruises. Sucks!

I'm sad about Joe Melia dying (he was Mr Prosser in the TV show). Also - where is everyone - is there a Facebook group for us?? Has this place actually closed?

Frankymole, most everyone has migrated over to Facebook. There are a few of us who still check in here, and some are not on Facebook.

Nell, get a gmail account just for registering on FB and use it for nothing else. Use an assumed name: Nell O'dee would be perfect. And don't do anything else. You are in control. There are all sorts of security settings. You will have to set them, as FB starts you off wide open, but you can close it down pretty tightly. Just avoid "like"-ing anything, and playing the (stupid) games, and you should be fine. It would be great to see you there. Love,

Ah, okay. I'm on Facebook (Frank AlMiles Mole). Any chance of joining? Is a closed group easy to find for newbies?

Lynx Cat is no more :(

Had to take him to the Vet's this morning and he was put to rest, sleeping in my arms.

It's so empty in the Lair. Leopardess Cat must sense I'm sad. She has hardly left me since I came home .

Early last year, vagahubby was on the receiving end of a road rage attack. 14 months later he is going in for shoulder surgery as a result of this. His shoulder has been spontaneously dislocating for months. He declined to have the man who attacked him arrested. Huge mistake, as we are now stuck with the bills for the damage. Always have the person arrested. You never know what the long-term effects will be.
