I love it.
A few of the more obscure ones I spotted apart from the obvious Dr Who and Star Wars ones:
The false Anna from Metropolis
Robert from Fireball XL5
Robbie from Forbidden Planet
The Robot from Lost in Space
Kryten from Red Dwarf
The Oven robot from Grand Day Out and the Dog from A Close Shave
Huey and Dewey from Silent Running
Twiki from Buck Rogers
The Noo-Noo from Teletubbies
Bubo from the Clash of Titans
The Robot from the "Smash" adverts
The Google Android
Two Marvins but not the Illustrated guide one or the comic one as far as I can see
The Honda Asimo
The Tin Man
A Henry vacuum cleaner (a robot?)

I'll need my son to identify many others - I wonder if someone has a list?

Some things will never change. Let's hope his diaper is not one of them.

I suppose no trip to CERN is complete without a bit of mugging for the camera and a quick game of Where's Higgsy?

"Either" refers to at least two things, if I am familiar enough with English language (which I supposedly am, since we, erm, lost the war, which left me with not much choice. Oh, those 10.000 American soldiers, plus dependents stationed back in "mo´fucking Hilebrann", as they lovingly pronounced my hometown Heilbronn and their free English lessons in the park, "hey, you wanna by some haaash? Hey, you got a siste´? Hey, you wanna blow-job?" I swear, these were the words and they were meant for me. (All of them!).

Well, the copyright should explain itself pretty much, in case you do refer to that, Europas taxifahrender Schriftsteller is German for the ridiculously preposterous way I call myself, Europe´s cab-driving writer (I figured the more it annoys people the more it sticks).

And the latter, the German text on the Berlin wall at the Brandenburger Tor - well it depends what the unknown "artist" had in mind, if the word "maker" is actually an anglicism, then it would translate, like, "hey, you sorry bastards in east and west" or if it is actually a mistake, then it should say "Macker", which would refer to a male macho being and then the sense would be, "hey, you sorry macho-bastards in east and west".

Without a doubt, the, erm, artist´s intention was to point out to that there is actually not much difference in shitheads, whether they´d be on this or the other side of the wall, they´d just be eastern or western shitheads.

Well, there is a point in that, as one must admit, I´m afraid.

Btw, I forgot, for 38 more ´82 Berlin pics, scary wall and all, see: http://jochenlembke.wordpress.com/2012/02/29/berlin-1982-fotogalerie/
