From OG:

Episode 1 to be broadcast simultaneously on BBC1 and BBC3 at 9PM on October 21st.
Episode 2 then immediately follows on BBC3.
On all following weeks, the episode on BBC1 at 9PM will be followed by the next episode on BBC3 so that BBC3 is 1 week ahead of BBC1 for the whole run.

!woot!

Seen a bit of speculation over 45 or hour long episodes

Something to look forward to for the dark nights

(hang on: Saturday at 9pm I'm usually out... that means trying to watch it after a few bevvies - then again on Sunday morning to remember the good bits...)

Is OG back up yet? It said it was "relaunching" today, yet nothing's changed.

Yah, it's been relaunching for awhile. First it said it would relaunch the 12th. Now it's stuck on the 14th.

Shame, why doesn't BBC3 show more repeats of Who?

because they wouldn't have space for repeats of Two Pints, that's for sure...

Off Topic: Isn't Noel Clarke writing one of the Torchwood episodes? I didn't know he was a writer too.

He certainly is, wrote a very contraversial film about urban ethnic kids that was released earlier this year

(hunts...)

Wikipedia wrote:
Clarke wrote the screenplay for the film Kidulthood, released on 3 March 2006. Later that month Doctor Who Magazine #368 revealed that Clarke was to be a member of the writing team of the forthcoming Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood.

The Torchwood trailer is now online.

Looks spiffy. I also dig the human-Cyberman hybrid.

I'll try tonight for you Nell. I've seen two trailers on BBC3 sharing about 60% of content.

By the way, is it just me or are most people posting in this topic suffering from a really bad cold?

Heres an odd one, select "text only" from www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood and there is an access code. A dig on the YouTube archive shows the numbers 45895 being entered into an input field, but doesn't do anything apart from bounce you back to the home page

However, I am really starting to look forward to this, almost more than Who because of it's content style

I saw trailers last night! It got me so excited - though not nearly as excited as I was when I saw the first Series 2 trailer...

You're an alien catcher?

Yes I am.

Caught any good aliens?

Tons of them.

Sounds a hell of a job.

Actually torrents are quite legal as long as they respect copyrights. I've heard of some that do. And you have been pm'ed, Shada.
