In me there is you

Ophelia offered her wisdom, not selling herself cheaply.

‘I am the night.

I am the mother of your

dreams,

of your hope,

of your future.

I am the night.’

She looked at me, I found a tear in the corner of her spirit

in it I saw - reflected -

A mirror to the world

reflection to the mind

emotional hurt

transitional cadence.

‘In me is the universe.

I am woman.

In me I have life.

I am totality.

In me there is also you.

In you there is also me.

We are

one.’

Ophelia spoke words of eternal wisdom.

And as I'm working my way towards the masterpiece, let me just state that this poem, it's the closest I've got thus far. I really felt inspired, and reading Hamlet can do that to one. Just as seeing the woman who is my Ophelia can. She is real, she lives nowadays. So it fits the play and the poetry quite nicely.
