Sideslipping
Having my coffee I slipped sideways into a landscape made up by words and sentiments. I touched a world available to any and all who want to go there, yet so few seem willing to offer the input of time and dedication it craves.
I smelled a flower alive only in imagination. I plucked it and I offered it to my sweet Ophelia fair. And she - like I - could walk the path, could reach the depth, could enter into, the land of fiction and of phantasy.
I had a seat in the hallways of a Danish court in the 1600’s. I walked the gardens of Avalon.
I had a dream last night, in it I was able to travel back and forth in time and space, enter into any work of art I so desired.
Having my coffee I slipped sideways into a landscape of the mind.
I Had an adventure and got back.
It was nice.
