Douglas Adams Continuum (DAC)

It is with great pleasure I can announce that at a new episode of the Douglas Adams' Continuum fan radio series of "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" has come to fruition. Episode Four is released today on forty-two day - 10.10.10. And it is of course forty-two minutes long. Many thanks once again to all of the cast and crew.

Listened to it while working on some other things. Great work! I enjoyed every minute! Vince is great at anything he does and his Dirk is no exception. And everyone else was fantastic, too! Gordon's delivery isn't what quite what I would have imagined. It's even better! It's got a really nice flow. Good job, everyone!

Also, am I wrong in thinking that I was three people in that episode?

Am I doing something wrong or is it not available on podmatic yet? I also seem to be woefully lacking in the downloading-from-ubuntuone department.

I've republished the episode four link --- I found there was a problem with it too --- and that seems to have fixed it for now. So maybe you should have more luck downloading?

As for podomatic, the basic problem is that if you go over your bandwidth limit for the month you can't upload any more episodes. This was supposed to reset on the Monday in question, but it seemed to either not do that or get dramatically over-bandwidth again. They suggest one thing to do is to make the episodes stream-only rather than downloadable on podomatic, but to actually edit the episode you need to be within your bandwidth limit... how sensible. Anyway, I'll probably do that, and put it up, next time it seems possible to do that. In the meantime, there are the other two means of getting the episode - thesixtyone link for streaming, and the above download link.

Hooray! I finally managed to get around the podomatic bandwidth problems by getting to the page sufficiently quickly after the bandwidth is reset. So Episode 4 is up on the podomatic page at last (dirkgently.podomatic.com). I've had to disable downloading on the podomatic page to stop this happening again. But if anybody wants them, pm me and I can send you links.
