Your hopes were in vain.

It's not the most deeply probing special (the cancellation of Shada is entirely glossed over) but there are some nice bits from John Lloyd and even a very muffled interview with Adams himself. And Stephen Moffat chimes in about the influence Adams' run had on the current Doctor Who.

I thought it an interesting half hour, definately aimed at the sort of person who didn't really know about that sort of thing allready, but is potentially interested. The Moff had some lovely things to say about Douglas.
