Oh, dear ... the next time we have a meet-up, remind me to tell you about the Lowell George concert I went to in 1979. I started to share it here, but decided I really don't want that event documented on the internet ...

I also bought this at the same time:

I have every Jackson Browne album up to and iincluding this on vinyl but I lost interest after that.
I bought the Solo Accoustic Vol 1 CD a couple of months back and it got me back into it and I've been buying CD versions when I see them cheap (£3.99)

It took me *thinks* 5 months to find it, but I finally picked up the score for Serenity.

I bought the Talking Heads Brick box set for the moongod for Valentine's Day. It's a dualdisc set comprised of remastered versions of all eight of their studio albums plus DVD programming on the flip side. Hours and hours of content for both our listening and viewing pleasure.

Wasn't planned. I was killing some time at a record store, not expecting to buy anything when I saw this for $3. Three bucks for a Bowie! I couldn't possibly say no!

Actually, I've not opened it yet. I've only heard one track but the first time I heard it, it seemed a well-known song.
Nice and mellow and comfortable.

It's also put together really well, I mean it's a lovely little book, and the pictures are really great. It's much nicer than a cheap plastic case, it looks like someone has really taken care over it.

Michael Jackson - Number Ones

Didn't buy it as such. My uncle's girlfriend got it from Columbia House and she gave it to me. Scoff if you must but as weird as the man certainly is, there's a reason MJ is called the King of Pop.

You can actually listen to some of the Juno falls stuff here, if you're interested. A very good Dublin based band - have a listen to "This song is your own". Great song. Great band, can't wait for the new album

And, in fact, you can get a good sample of Roesy here, too.
