Yes it is fun, Fenchurch, but only if you dont live there. If you're looking for things to do, we have lots tourist-y stuff here (tourism is our major source of income, you see). I recomend Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I'ts loads fun! Plus, I used to work there. I helped run the go-carts - terrible job (great perks though).

I'm sorry, but I HATE that song. The most annoying, overplayed song since "Achy Breaky Heart"

Now that'll be stuck in your heads all day.

I missed this post earlier.
I was in San Antonio in 2003 (took a couple of days off from working in Houston and drove there).
Really nice place but the main attraction everyone came to see, the Alamo, I felt had been so commercialised it was hard to see what was real and what was reproduction.
I enjoyed the Tower of the Americas but mostly I spent a lot of time just alking around the Riverwalk area. We had a great meal in a seafood place there and was about to ask the waitress why the swordfish was so bloody good but she was about 16 and Spanish so I don't think she'd have got the reference.

The Alamo Is the big attraction, but being a native I've probably been there a billion times  . Its been a very long time since I've been to the Tower. The absolutely breath-taking, as I recall. The Riverwalk is truly unique to S.A. It's especially beautiful when lit up at Xmas time! If any of you ever get the chance, you really should visit!
