Douglas Adams Continuum (DAC)

I'm usually a "make mine Marvel" kind of guy, but DC's Vertigo line has some great titles out. This month they released a new book, I, Zombie, and it's amazing.

The zombie genre is kind of getting run into the ground (kind of thanks to the fine folks at Marvel), but there are still quality stories out there and it looks like this is one. Initially I was chiefly attracted to the book because it features art by Mike Allred whose Madman books are favorites of mine. I've always felt that Allred's stories were a bit, off, so it's a relief to see him pulling art duties behind a writer like Chris Roberson.

If you haven't yet checked it out, get thee to a store of comic-ary and pick it up.

the last zombie related thing i read was "world war z" which is a true life account of what happened in an alternate reality where the zombies did take over. By reading this book we can all prepare ourselves, i think
