I have never replied to this thread, and here's why: I don't have a TV anywhere near this computer. Go figure.

Oh Anorak, how untechlike... ;-)

At the moment, Full House. But it's too cute, so now TV Guide to see what's on.

Ooh, that Who documentary? I gotta watch that.

However, I am feeling a sick desire to watch *The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen*, if only to confirm what I already know.

Gah! I wish our cable system carried Trio.

I've been pretty cheesed off with them lately. First, they get rid of NHL Center Ice. Then, they raise the rates. Then, our local PBS stations have extra stations (thanks to them running digital) which we can pick up if we buy a set-top box for an additional $4/month. Whereas, Crime Warner includes these channels with their whole digital package.

That supercilious smile as he said that the USA have captured or killed most of the famous pack of cards.

Urgh. That man has to go. How can he be pleased about killing people without a trial, does that not constitute murder?

And everybody stands and claps!

Not if it's done in the interests of "National Security". 'cause, y'know, Saddam's evil & stuff.

Hey, the Geneva Convention is outdated and was written in an age that has long since passed.

Y'know, I don't deny that Hussein was a viscious, ruthless coward that needed to be dealt with but Dubya's entire (and ever-changing) justificiation was misleading, misjudged and damn near criminal.

So funny that they tried to boot Clinton out of office for lying about "not having relations with that woman," but Bush does some really sinister stuff, as well as stealing the presidency, and his position is beyond question.

From the immortal words of Yakoff Smirnoff, "What a country!"

Thank you. That's exactly my point.

Anyhoo, one of my favorite sites to read daily is SmirkingChimp.com. It's a good collection of columns & opinions. Of course, it is pretty one-sided.

He is really tall....I bumped into him, literally, before the DNA lecture last year...I'd say about 6'3 6'4-ish

Yeah, I think he has. I was watching "Omnibus: The man who blew up the earth" the other day, and, mind you it was made in late 2001, Stephen was interviewed and he looked quite fluffy.

Ah well, who am I to talk?
