Just curious what else is out there worth following?

Me, I'm watching these shows as long as they are on the screen:
Doctor Who (plus Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures)
    House MD
    Chuck
    Castle
    Grey's Anatomy
    (plus Private Practice)
    Dollhouse
    Ashes to Ashes

Sadly Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles with the adorable Summer Glau has been cancelled. There are some rumours 'though that she might turn up in Dollhouse.

next to nothing, unfortunately. DW is a given, of course, but doesn´t really count because it´s not on german tv.

My list is much the same as yours except I've never watched Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice and since I somehow missed the start of Dollhouse, I've not started following it yet ... maybe I'll play catchup with that one.

Looking forward to Eureka's return this weekend.
I've watched the first couple episodes of Royal Pains and Nurse Jackie and will likely continue with them.
Weeds has gone over the edge but I keep watching it anyway.
United States of Tara
Trust Me
Fringe
True Blood
The Mentalist
Mad Men
Swingtown was fun, but it's been canceled.
I've recently discovered Saving Grace. If I stick with it I should probably seek out the first 1 1/2 seasons so things will make a bit more sense.

Dang, I watch a lot of TV lately! Thank bob for the DVR ... always something to watch on sleepless nights.

I started on that show but lost it after a couple episodes. I just can't stand Colin Ferguson...

Regarding Dollhouse, it took me awhile to adjust to Eliza Dushku's non-acting but the stories got better and better over the series.

Absoluetly none. If I happen to zap past anything like House I stop and watch, but I don't follow anything.

mg, is "fringe" any good? it has started over here, but it sounded a bit too much like someone was trying to clone "x-files" ...

I've never seen X-Files, so I really can't compare the two but I'd recommend giving it a try if you're looking for something to watch. Most episodes cover a single phenomenon, each of which add to the overarching story line - so once you've seen the first couple episodes it's easy enough to follow what's going on even if you miss a few.

I find it unique and well done for a network series. I do sometimes have difficulty in suspending disbelief toward Walter's contraptions, but not enough to be too distracting.

you´ve got to. seriously, it´s one of the best series ever produced. i was a huge fan back then. i have recently rewatched all the eps with mr. nell and was surprised how well-produced and originally crafted this series was, even by today´s standards.
go buy the first season, for a start, you won´t regret it. money back guarantee!!!

Bit like Dukey. If I scan past something of interest, I'll sit and watch it.

Not that many. House, Lost. Heroes (only cos a friend watches it though, it lost me at the second season). Lie to Me, sort of, which I rather like but it conflicts with Lost.

I really enjoyed the pilot episode of Lie to Me but quickly grew tired of the main characters verbalizing their perceived superiority over others because of their ability to observe 'the obvious'. Repeatedly. In detail. With conveniently located giant flat screen video to back them up. In every-single-episode. Which is unfortunate because the story lines can be quite interesting.

So I think the less one sees of it the more one likes it.

Sounds about right-- I've only seen 3 episodes! I found Tim Roth's backstory with his daugher more interesting than the ARE THEY LYING?!?!? plot-o'-the-week (the answer: yes, they are), but...obvz not enough to watch more episodes, I suppose.

Nell, Fringe is worth watching, absolutely! And it was almost billed as an X-Files meets Twilight Zone kind of programme anyway.

Breaking Bad is very much worth finding as well (cough, don't even think a UK TV company has even picked up the rights to it)

I've been told to watch that too, by someone who spends even more time than me watching stuff. But then someone else I know that also spend a crazy amount watching stuff said it wasn't that good. So I guess it's a hit and miss kind of show.

Generation Kill is another show someone's recommended, as well as The Wire and True Blood. I shall have to watch them too. Eek.

Castle is the only show that i manage to watch on tv every week (or over the 'net if i miss it). I tend to not watch shows that much because my work schedule is not definite and i already hate it when i work Monday nights when Castle is on.. /ramble.

But besides that, i watch shows like:
NCIS
House
Burn Notice
Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations

Pushing Daisies (such a great show, pity it got cancelled, but at least here in Hungary there are still episodes to be broadcast 'till the series finale)
I gave up on 24 after the 5th season.
I watch Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother whenever it's on and I have the time too.

EDIT: Okay, I guess I wasn't thorough enough once again, some these aren't exactly drama series.

Ditto...missed it first up, caught it on iPlayer last night. What superb characterisation and dialogue. Dark, subtle, disturbing. Riveting stuff.

Indeed, a phantastic addition to BBC2's Thursday evening lineup. Complementing very nicely the delightful display of India de Beaufort's boobs on the otherwise debatable Krod Mandoon and the hilarious sketchup that is That Mitchell and Webb Look.

Very good indeed, and this will get better now things are established.

OK, I do start thinking this is LoG before reminding myself that it isn't, but in no way is that a criticism!

The incidental music, and even some of the direction, reminded me of Funland, another show with League connections.

I hope you're not all watching psychoville? It's for local people!

I loved it! Still not too sure about Krod, although there have been some very funny moments!

I'm being completely owned by The West Wing, how I managed to not see it once during it's seven years on air, I have no idea.

Current dramas/drama types:
Lost
Doctor Who
Burn Notice
Friday Night Lights
Chuck
Supernatural

I had a similar experience a couple of months ago. It has quickly topped my list of all-time favorite tv shows.

Put me on the list of people who love Burn Notice. I can't think of any show that's on at the moment that tops it for sheer fun.
