While I've never been into any of the many vampire series, movies, or books out there, today I watched the first episode and several extras for HBO's new series True Blood which I found rather fun. Anyone else catch this?

well, it hasn´t arrived over here, but my last hbo experiences ("rome") were great and the series´ homepage looks like high quality entertainment. seems vampires hit tv, eh? "moonlight" is a rather crappy series though, so i´d be interested to see a successful try. i´ll keep an eye open for this. thanks for the heads up, mg!

I think Robbie Stamp signed a deal with HBO a while back and is producing an historical epic for them currently. I'll contact him and see if I'm right and if there is any progress. Could be interesting.
