Hello. I am now going to write an introduction, which will actually offer little insight into who I am, but it will get some questions out the way. In this introduction, I aim to answer the questions "What is your name?", "Where do you live?" and "What is your favourite colour?" before anyone gets a chance to ask them, to deprive those people of the opportunity.

What is your name? My name is Joshua Douglass-Molloy. Oh, would you look at that, double-barrelled. "What a fiddly name!" you must be thinking. Yes, it is fiddly sometimes. "How did you get it?" you might ask (I'm not going to let you ask that). Well, my parents decided they would impose both of their surnames on me at once. It's as simple as that.

Where do you live? I live in Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia (I don't have any problems with disclosing this information because I've done so before without any unpleasant results). It is a boring place, but I suppose it is very clean. It's got a lot of churches, it is in fact referred to occasionally as 'The City of Churches'. I'm an atheist, so churches only do anything for me if they have nice architecture, and lots of the churches here are quite ugly.

What is your favourite colour? Yellow.

As you can see, this really does give very little insight. But it stopped you from answering a lot of questions, didn't it. You may now ask any other questions that occur to you. I don't suppose you're very interested, though, I'm not a terribly interesting person. Does anyone want to ask if I have hobbies?

Oh dear...you're right. You do sound rather dull.

But, what the hey, it's a nice day, I'm not too busy, I'll indulge you. So, Josh...um...do you have any hobbies?

Oh, and welcome btw...have some chocolate bunnies.

Yes, I've a few hobbies. I enjoy writing, and have a sort of completed manuscript that I'd really like to get published one of these days but probably won't. I enjoy pencil and paper RPG's (I'm a bit of a nerd, really).

I can see why this picture is meant to be humourous. The first chocolate lagomorph has lost his posterior to a particularly cruel child who decided to eat that part first, and he is trying to inform his friend of the agony he is experiencing. But his friend cannot hear him, due to another act of cruelty; in fact, he will never hear anything again. It's actually rather sad. Tragic, really.

This is a tricky question. I don't actually have a favourite church; so I can't actually answer, really. But I'll hazard this answer in case a favourite pops up: brown?

Well, thank you. It's very nice, what with the waxing and all. I wonder, does an overenthusiastic moon wax lyrical?

and have the major cathedral (St. Blasii) of my hometown (Braunschweig, Germany) as a present - maybe it could be your favourite church?

Hm, it's nice, and very, very brown. For now, it will take the place of my favourite church. I do like an old, brown building.

Welcome Josh.
Hope you find this Forum as entertaining as I have.

I agonized over which piccie to give as a present and settled on Marvin. For some reason he sprang to mind as I was reading your posts.

Thank you, having this picture is much easier than going to the zoo, and I'm not even sure that they have one.
