Hello!
I’m new here, and I found this place while searching the internet for answers to my questions, and knew this was the place where people would have the answers I am looking for!
So, I’m posting this in the newbies section, because I didn’t expressly see a section for the Dirk Gently book series.

**Spoilers** (I’m really expecting most of you to have read this though, if not; shame.)
I finished reading the first book a short time ago (and enjoyed it quite a bit) but was left with a few puzzles in my head.
The first two possibly have the same answer. Who built the time machine/computer that controls the time machine? Was it Reg? And further, how did Reg manage to live so long?
The second question is, I understand how the poem interruption can deter the ghost and all, but when Richard asks Reg if he can see the ship one more time, Reg replies, “The ship is gone.â€

Oh, thank you! My hair and nails were in need of a shine. I'm only concerned that THIS cod oil, whilst obviously having a superior branding, does not advertise a reduction of "fish burps" which is often plastered on many of the popular bottles of fish oil these days... I don't know if I could bare such an embarrassment, but Wikipedia says it could also be used to treat.. burns. So I will save it for that.
