Though you guys never struck me as the type to really be into most types of games, Minecraft might interest you: http://www.minecraft.net/ .

One review I read said it's less of a game and more of a creativity toy, which makes sense. It's more or less a giant sandbox and zombie just so happen to come out and try to attack you at night. Thanks to viral marketing (most unintentional), it has become wildly popular. It is also another sign of how the Swedish are awesome.

The game is rather silly, and the various players have made rather silly things in it. There are also a lot of people who develop non-endorsed expansions for it, many of which are quite fun. Like the one that adds dinosaurs.
