How long does it take for a twitter account to be deleted? A few days ago I deleted my twitter account because I wanted to use the e-mail it was under to create another account, but it still said that the e-mail was taken. Its weird though because it gives me an option to restore my account ... I need help!

I would not be surprised if Twitter follows the same method Facebook does in this regard, in that deleting the account is impossible. Instead it goes inactive and everything on the account is still there. On Facebook, if you wanted to actually remove all of your photos, posts, etc. you would have to manually delete them yourself.

Again, never used Twitter myself so I can't say for sure, but from what you're describing it sounds like the same system (with the restore account business and all). And if not, maybe it takes a few days or weeks to fully remove the old account from the servers.
