I have a cool sighting from here and it goes like this, i think all i need to do is start the rumor. that's all for now. but it really is like a "mammoth" GET SMART! where you go into a busy airport with hundreds of thousands of travelers each day...no one realizes that there's an extra 10,000 that work there. They go into the same 8 floor elevators that everyone else does..but with a turn of a special elevator key..they access another 42 floors below the ground. zorro channelling aliens

Watched a documentary today about a Master of Dao in present China. Mentioned was The Perfect Warrior who as a prince left his home and his parents to cultivate Dao on Mt Wudang, and attained immortality after how many years? Exactly, 42!

A quick search...

Quote:
Sales of the Toyota Prius jumped to 6,123 units—its highest volume month ever. That represents almost a 50% increase in volume from October 2003, and a year-to-date increase of 177.5% from 2003, with a total of 41,838 Priuses sold so far this year. The October sales number also represents an increase of 42% from the September sales volume.

The Sequel packages everything in an 11-inch skateboard chassis, building on what GM first showed with AUTOnomy and Hy-wire. The Sequel offers 42% better torque than its predecessor, and shorter braking distances.

Quote:
The United States still gets 42% of its oil from domestic sources. But over time, the amount of oil we produce will inevitably decrease, because only 2-3% of the world’s oil reserves lie in US territory. The vast majority are in the Mideast. Even if we were to drill for oil in environmentally sensitive areas, such as the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, it would not change the basic fact that our country owns only a small share of the world’s remaining oil.

Quote:
With 42% of global production (17 million units) coming from the EU in 2002, the region has the largest single market for passenger cars in the world and is well positioned to leverage economies of scale and scope, notes the Commission's 2004 competitiveness report. Although large-scale production is still "a major instrument in achieving cost-efficiency", this now only applies to the basic platform of vehicles instead of the entire car. High innovation and R&D capacity has allowed production to evolve from "gigantic production sites" into modular, more flexible production techniques.

Quote:
Ford, GM and Daimler Chrysler have announced plans in recent months to sell full-hybrid sport-utilities by 2004. GM plans to sell some full-hybrid pickups and mid-sized cars then, too. Ford said recently that it would begin installing 42-volt systems in 2004 on many Ford Explorers.

There seems to be an uncanny link with green transport and a certain number...

Get back to work....
